In its 125th year, the British Printing Industries Federatio (BPIF) is sharing stories about its members. Featured recently is Richard Mawson, our very own managing director, who explains his journey in the industry until he co-founded CyanX back in 2005.
Richard started his career in print engineering at at Crabtree Vickers in Otley in September 1978, building sheetfed presses for customers all over the world.
He moved on in 1989 and began specialising in ancillary equipment for presses and pressrooms. He notes that despite the years that have passed, most of the relationships he made during this time are as strong as ever!
